The Gist
The Olympics was fading in relevance with Tokyo’s viewership hitting an all-time low. The Olympics needed to reach a new generation of fans, and fast, ahead of the Paris 2024 Games. We partnered with Peacock on a new approach to break all of the rules. Coverage of the usual broadcast, medal counts and records? Not what Gen Z cared about. We turned athletes into influencers by focusing on the culture of the games. The result? Paris became the most streamed Olympics of all time.
My Role
As Senior Art Director for Peacock's social media during the 2024 Summer Olympics, I took on a multifaceted role encompassing concept development, production, editing, and quality assurance. I led creative initiatives to capture the energy and excitement of the Games, shaping visually compelling, on-brand content to engage audiences. My responsibilities spanned overseeing all phases of content creation—from initial vision through meticulous quality checks—ensuring every post resonated with Peacock's style and Olympic spirit.
